However, caution is necessary to avoid overexertion, which could exacerbate symptoms. Gentle exercises such as walking, swimming, and yoga are recommended, along with proper stretching routines. By incorporating exercise into their routine, individuals with lymphedema can improve their overall health and quality of life while minimising swelling and discomfort. The patient can also practice Diaphragmatic breathing, which helps increase the pumping action of the muscles and joints, boosts lymph vessel activity, and improves venous and lymphatic return
